The city of Lawrence, Kansas divides our township into two areas, northern and southern. Equipment and apparatus are divided between the two areas to provide the most efficent response possible. Apparatus from either station may respond to any call in the township, with those from the closest station arriving first.
Station 1
This station covers the southern area and is located at 300 West 31st Street Lawrence, Kansas. Station One's current building was completed in 1974. It houses a brush truck, engine, and tender. This station is staffed by full-time personnel 24 hours per day.
Station 2
This station covers the northern area and is located at 1230 N. 1800 Road Lawrence, Kansas. Station Two, opened in 2002, houses one brush truck and two engines.
