All controlled burns and bonfires in the township must be approved and recorded by the Fire Department. Please contact Station One (843-2226) prior to igniting any fires. The staff on duty will give approval based on weather conditions and the recommendations set forth by the National Weather Service.

Open Controlled Burns are allowed during daylight hours.

Camp fires (recreational burns) may be allowed after dark. These must be in an approved fire pit of a reasonable size.
